Troy Deane Porter, Sr., 64, of Alvin, TX. passed away on February 10th, 2026. He was born on October 17th, 1961, to his parents, Roberta and Carleton Porter, in Los Angeles.
Troy was a loving husband, a hardworking father, and a devoted grandfather. He enjoyed watching Football (Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans), and his quiet strength and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Troy was a Thousand Oaks resident for over 30 years and attended both Redwood Elementary and Thousand Oaks High School. Troy also played baseball in the Conejo Valley Little League and Majors. Conejo Creek Park was a favorite location of Troy's going up in Thousand Oaks. Troy will be dearly missed by his hometown friends and family.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents, Roberta and Carleton, his brother, Darin Porter.
Troy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sabrina Porter, daughter, Roberta Porter, Troy Porter Jr. and Donald Gilchrist; brother Sean Porter; and grandchildren, Brayden Gilchrist and James Porter.
