Eva Lou Lafferty Obituary

Thousand Oaks - Eva Lou Lafferty, 90, of Thousand Oaks, CA, She was born on January 19, 1935, in Montrose, Colorado. Eva Lou was a follower of Jesus Christ and a member of Atmosphere Church in Westlake Village and Godspeak Calvary Church of Newbury Park and she shared her Christian beliefs with all and lived by the motto "Love God first and Love thy neighbor as thyself."


Eva Lou is survived by her loving husband of 74 years, Daryl. She found great joy in Timeshare vacationing with her family, boating, trout fishing, cooking for loved ones, and in earlier days working with and riding horses. Her hobby was embroidering tea towels for family and friends. Eva Lou and family moved from

Culver City to T.O. in 1960 and later in the 70's she and her husband owned the first mail receiving store on T.O. Blvd called the "Mail Stop". Eva Lou's memory will be cherished by her children: Donna Gramarossa of Las Vegas, Patricia Murphy, Shawn Lafferty of Ventura County, Dale Lafferty and Sandra Grandchamp of Arizona. She is lovingly remembered as "Mema" by her 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.


Eva Lou Lafferty will be remembered for her unwavering faith, love for her family, and dedication to helping others. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will be cherished by all who knew her.


A celebration of life is planned October 26th at 224 Siesta Ave in Thousand Oaks at 3:00 PM, a private residence, In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the

International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, an organization Eva Lou

passionately supported. Contributions can be sent directly to them.
