Westlake Village - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Mae McLendon, a long-time resident of Westlake Village, on September 5, 2025 at the age of 98. She was born on February 27, 1927, in Joliet, Illinois. Beverly was a devoted wife/mother, very outgoing and had so many good friends. Catholicism was very important to her. She loved traveling with her husband and going on cruises. Beverly will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Even in her last years she made a lasting impression on everyone that knew her and always had a smile for them.
Beverly is survived by her 3 children, Dave McLendon (Diane Yee), Donna Newcomb, and Laurie Brown (Eric) and 2 grandchildren, Nicole and Sean McLendon. Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Don; her parents, Lou and Helen; and her siblings, Jim and Linda.
